Orutsararmiut Traditional Native Council

We are the Federally recognized governing body for the community of Bethel, Alaska.
We are governed by council of a Traditional Chief, a Chairperson, a Vice Chairperson, a Secretary/Treasurer and four Members. Council Members are elected by Tribal Membership bi-annually. Officers are then appointed by the current members of the council.
